My first car was a yellow 1972 vw bug, I lent it to a friend, to drive back to base. This was in 1990's long story, it broke down. While on side of the highway the stereo was stolen. This lead to all the wiring being pulled out and ofcourse a busted window as point of entry. Well after this occurred the military didn't allow a broken car to be parked on base so my car was put in a storage unit by "said friend" all this occurring without my awareness, but overtime apparently the storage unit was not paid and my 1972 yellow beetle was eventually sold at auction, again all without my awareness. I did not find out until much later when it was too late. So in my mind this car got stolen so to speak. For 34 years I have made it my mission to get back everything the devil tried to steal. In 2023, I bought another site unseen 1977 vw beetle, however she needs repairs. I dedicate my next 30 years putting her back piece by piece.
